All garments are hand made to order, production time may vary depending on garment type and pre-exisiting orders
As all garments are made to order, there is a varying production time attached to each order. We aim to get your order completed within 3 weeks from date of order, however in peak times or due to product complexity your order may take up to 6 weeks to complete, unless otherwise specified. If a garment is completely custom made this production time may be further increased, due to pattern development, sampling, and potentially fittings.
All orders placed with Therefore are subject to acceptance and availability. 'Therefore' garments are made to order and are subject to material availability. If for some reason the fabrication is no longer available, you will be contacted directly regarding your order, and the order will be cancelled and the money refunded in full.
Full payment is required when purchasing our products online, or in store, before your order can be processed. Custom orders require a 50% deposit of the quoted cost, at the time of order. The remaining balance, which may vary slightly, due to manufacturing and fabric prices along the way. If any such changes should occur, they will be discussed with you prior to changes. The remaining amount must be payed in full, upon completion of your order, before your product is sent to you.
Therefore accept payment by credit card (Visa and Mastercard) eftpos on site as well as direct transfer or cash, please contact directly if you wish to organise an alternative payment method..
Therefore offers shipping Australia wide, or alternatively you can pick up for free from our studio in Coburg. We can also ship internationally; just contact us at email@example.com for a custom shipping quote.
As all therefore garments are made to order, just for you, we cannot offer a refund on purchases if you change your mind. However, if there is any quality issues please send us an image and description of the issue so we can work with you to find the best solution. As the products are non refundable, as they can not be resold, please choose carefully before ordering. Returning an item is only possible if the garment is faulty or damaged before arrival. If the item is faulty it must be returned in original condition with any accompanying packaging and tags still attached. The item must not have been washed, altered or worn. Please note, any items that have been sized or altered are not eligible for return, so please choose carefully. WHAT IF THE ITEM IS FAULTY?
If you have a concern that the item you have received is faulty, please contact us immediately. At the discretion of the team at 'Therefore', if the item is found to be faulty, we will organise a repair, exchange or refund of the item in question. We do not accept returns for faulty items after 1 month of receiving. We do not accept faulty returns if any alterations or attempted repairs have been made by the customer, or if a fault has been caused by incorrect use, or laundering.
To be eligible for a free repair, refund or exchange you must send through a request of return to email@example.com within 28 days of receiving your item. After 28 days of receiving your item, we will not accept any returns or exchanges, however may still offer repair services. Once we have received your request of return, we will send you through a returns form to fill out and send back with the item. Please note, we must receive the item back within 7 days (for all Australian orders) and 14 days (for all international orders) of us sending through the returns form.
We do not refund any shipping costs for exchanges or returns unless the item is declared faulty, through fault of supplier. The cost of returning an item that is declared faulty at the fault of the customer is the customer’s responsibility.
Once we receive the item we will launch a quality control investigation, to determine if the garment is in fact faulty, or damaged. Once we have inspected the item to ensure it has not been damaged through ware or incorrect laundering, we will identify what is at fault, and promptly arrange either an offer to repair, a credit or refund. If the garment has been damaged at fault of the customer, we will promptly send an offer to repair, at the expense of the customer, if this offer is not accepted we will return the garment to you.

DUTIES AND TAXES
The cost of duties and taxes are at the customers responsibility. Please select carefully as we are unable to refund any duties or taxes for international returns. This must be pursued by customers at their own jurisdiction. You may be able to contact the customs office and apply for a return through them. You may also contact your customs offices before placing a purchase, if you wish to receive an estimate of cost.
